The Network Rail UAS team have achieved a major milestone: BVLOS drone operations with Visual Mitigation at a huge distance of 3.35km! That's over 6x their previous operating range which is a gamechanger for the critical work they do to maintain our railways 🏆 Head of Network Rail Air Operations, Bradley Sparkes, said "...the Ajuno team was pivotal in the success of the project" and we're proud to have supported Network Rail with their safety case, training and trials. Achieving this breakthrough required meticulous planning and commitment to safety and this authorisation is a testament to Network Rail's dedication to improve our railway network. It's NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) Innovation Festival this week and it's awesome to see some of the team up there getting stuck into the sprints tackling the big world challenges and working with everyone there to produce solutions and viable outcomes. One major part of the week is the Young Citizen's Work Experience (#YCWEF) aimed specifically at Year 10 & 11 students where young citizens can be inspired, get hands on, learn and develop valuable work-based skills and expand their career knowledge within the water sector and beyond. Massive shout out to the one and only Ameliyah Cole as she runs daily workshops with students sharing hers and Ajnuo's knowledge on how drones can be a force for positive use in this sector. We'll be sharing more next week .... but for now - Go Ameliyah! #water #innovation #festival #northumbria

At Ajuno we believe that core to ensuring the drone industry scales sustainably is bringing end users to the forefront. We working closely with ARPAS-UK, Airwards and Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to break down sector silos through EASE.
*** Calling leading drone end users *** Do you procure or deploy a #drone capability? Next week Ajuno, ARPAS-UK, Airwards and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology are hosting the 2nd End User Advancement and Sharing Exchange (#EASE) meeting - bringing together leading end users from across the drone industry to share and overcome critical challenges, accelerating the path to sustainable drone #commercialisation. Despite significant investment in the drone industry, the limited adoption and engagement with drone capabilities poses strong concern for the industry. As I argued in my recent white paper (link below), End users are the gateway for the drone industry to provide benefits to society. To avoid market failure it's critical we do more to bring them to the forefront. → Download the #EASE establishment paper here: https://lnkd.in/dS7HkXmZ . If you're an end user or community lead and want to be involved, get in touch. #collaboration #breakingsilos #accelerating #commercialisation Here is my recent white paper building from the Future Flight Action plan: https://lnkd.in/dYh9ik2g

The Ajuno team reunites once again for a Mini Fiesta but this time in a brand new office in the heart of Bristol! 🏙 We reflected on what we've achieved so far as a business, remembering that one of our goals was to move to a new office, to one's specific request, with windows. Our co-founders listened and not only do we have MULTIPLE windows with views of the city, we have a great workspace so naturally we had to get everyone down to celebrate 🥂 #newworkplace #dronesforgood #thedreamteam

We're thrilled to share the recording of our first Ajuno webinar, where we delved into the exciting world of AI-enhanced drone inspection! Our Tech Lead Liam Flood kicked things off by providing insightful perspectives on the evolution of AI for drone operations and its numerous benefits. He then offered a clear breakdown of our 6-stage Drone AI inspection workflow, highlighting how users can leverage AI at each step for maximum efficiency. Adding to the value, Albert Mansour P.Eng., MBA, PMP, CEO & Co-Founder of our partner ConeLabs (Techstars '23) showcased an impressive demo of their inspection platform, boasting features like fast 3D model reconstruction, easy model sharing, and automatic crack and corrosion detection using AI. A big thank you to Guy Maalouf, WildDrone PhD candidate, for hosting the webinar and keeping the conversation engaging and informative. Ready to see the future of drone inspections?
