Our office is based in Cheshire, although like many companies we also work remotely from our homes. Our award-winning legal and claims teams are based in the ALPS office, too. And they are loved by our brokers and respected by their clients. The ALPS technology is also internally developed, and is constantly evolving to provide you with control, ease of use, flexibility and process efficiencies. Proud and grateful to be invited to the judging panel at the Insurance Times Award since 2021, always a great opportunity to meet some great fellow judges and see some inspiring entries. #ITAwards Good luck to all the finalists presenting tomorrow and a couple of tips from me: 1 - Turn up & make sure your presentation / slides / sound / video & internet connection work. Have a Plan B as tech can often fail, if it does fail make sure you can roll with it. 💻 2 - Stick to your time slot & make the most of your short time, take the opportunity to bring your submission alive, don't just repeat your written entry. ⏳ 3 - All judges are from different insurance backgrounds, so don't assume they understand your sector and avoid lingo. 👁️🗨️ 4 - Be prepared to answer questions about size & scale and future plans for your initiative and have stats available to support your submission where possible. 🔎 5- Be passionate & be able to explain why your submission is so unique.

This week some of our team attended Newcastle Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG)'s careers fair, specifically for their T-level Legal Services students. They spent the morning talking to the future bright minds of the legal industry all about Alps Legal Practice, our values and what we do. It was amazing to see young people so switched on and eager to begin their careers in the legal sector and we look forward to welcoming some of their students to learn with us as they complete their studies.
