Ambassador Cruise Line

Ambassador Cruise Line (“Ambassador”), a Njord Partners portfolio company, and French cruise operator CFC - Compagnie Française de Croisières (“CFC”), have reached an agreement to merge, forming the “Ambassador Group”. This strategic combination marks the creation of a leading European premium affordable value cruise line, targeting the no-fly silver market. The transaction is expected to close by the end of January 2025. The combined company will operate a fleet of three vessels of small-to-mid-size vessels: Renaissance, Ambience and Ambition and will focus on no-fly European cruises, with a Caribbean programme introduced in Q4 2025. A productive afternoon at London Stadium with Ambassador Cruise Line today. It was great to see the fantastic partnership built between both brands and the role Synonymous Sport have played in supporting the partnership. A FIRST FOR THE CRUISE INDUSTRY 🎭 Theatre@Sea Playwright Competition What began as a simple idea during one of our creative proposition sessions with Bob McGowan has now evolved into an industry first. It really is exciting to be part of something truly groundbreaking. Being part of such a unique initiative, one that has never been done before, is both exhilarating and inspiring. This journey is one I’m 200% keen to remember, and capture every moment along the way. The response has been overwhelming, we’ve received so many play submissions. This competition offers aspiring playwrights the rare opportunity to see their work come to life, with their play produced, directed, and performed live every week on a cruise ship in front of an audience of thousands. A huge thank you 🙏 to Ambassador Cruise Line for being such a supportive and collaborative client partner in making this vision a reality. 🌊🏆 A Historic Friendly Match: Ambience vs. Ambition 🏆🌊 Montego Bay, Jamaica – February 1, 2024 – It was a day of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and friendly competition as the crew of Ambience and Ambition came together for the first-ever Friendly Game between the two sister ships of Ambassador Cruise Line. Held under the warm Jamaican sun, the event featured basketball, volleyball, and football, giving crew members a rare and exciting opportunity to meet and bond with colleagues from the other ship. Match Results: ⚽ Football: Ambience took the victory with a score of 5-2. 🏀 Basketball: A nail-biting game ended with Ambience winning 14-13. While Ambience claimed the wins, the real victory was in the friendships formed and the unforgettable memories made. This event marked a milestone for both ships, proving that beyond work and responsibilities, we are one big Ambassador family. Congratulations to all the players and participants for making this event a huge success! Here’s to more friendly matches in the future. 🚢 Together, we sail. Together, we win. 🚢

JUDGES We are proud to have best-selling author Dr Alison Norrington as one of our esteemed judges in our Ambassador Cruise Line playwright competition. Dr Alison Norrington is the Founder of ‘storycentral’, a London-based entertainment studio, author and playwright with plays Class Act and A Fish & A Bonsai being staged at the Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, in the London Borough of Havering, East London. (The Queen's Theatre was named 'London Theatre of the Year' in 2020, and the theatre was nominated for 9 Off Stage Awards and won 4 of them last year). She has collaborated with global companies including Sundance TV and Walt Disney Imagineering, and her novel The Man in Manhattan has been recently optioned as a full length feature film.

We had the privilege of serving as headline sponsors at the World Indoor Bowls Championship held at Potters Resorts, Hopton-on-Sea. The event was a great success, providing a platform to engage with many of our valued customers and strengthen our presence in the community.
