Here at Amberjack, we're incredibly proud of Olivia Cole, Eva Lawrence, and Liam Eldred for their Peter Saville Rising Star Award nominations with The Association for Business Psychology🎉 We asked them what part of their work they were most proud of, and why... ✨ According to Eva, she's most proud of the work we do to make sure that every assessment we create at Amberjack is truly inclusive. "It means a lot to me to be part of a process that carefully considers inclusivity from the very beginning. Whether it’s during the design phase or in reviewing the results at the end, I take pride in knowing that we’re actively making assessments fairer and more accessible for everyone. It’s rewarding to see where we’ve succeeded and where we can keep improving." ✨ For Olivia, it's about our clients. "I’m most proud of getting to work with clients who are proud of their companies. It’s not just the main contacts but people from all parts of the business, like those involved in job analyses or filming content for our assessments. Helping clients to build an assessment process that reflects their culture to candidates is a part I really enjoy." ✨ The team itself stands out to Liam. "I’m most proud of two key aspects of my work. Firstly, I’m proud to be part of such a great team. The collaboration, support, and shared commitment to excellence make a significant impact on both the work environment and the outcomes we deliver for clients. Secondly, I take pride in the improvements we’ve made to the assessment process for a wide variety of clients. By refining and enhancing these processes, we've been able to make an observable difference in helping our clients identify top talent more effectively and efficiently." We also wanted to know what motivated them to choose a career in Psychology. ✨ Eva explained that she initially pursued psychology because, like many, she wanted to help people. "During my degree, I discovered business psychology and realised the significant impact it can have on the world of work. Understanding how much time we spend at work and how deeply it affects our overall well-being, I saw it as the perfect way to make a meaningful difference in people's lives." ✨ Olivia's experience in a different industry was her motivation. "Working in the manufacturing industry made me realise how much leadership is about understanding people. The fast pace and constant pressure showed me that I wanted to make a bigger impact, beyond just my immediate team. This is what inspired me to shift my career towards business psychology." ✨ Liam's natural curiosity drove his careers choice, he said, "I chose a career in psychology because I enjoy interacting with others and have a natural curiosity for understanding the underlying reasons behind different behaviours and situations. My focus on occupational psychology and assessment come...
