Celebrating Macmillan Coffee Morning at Amiosec! 🍰 We joined in on the world’s biggest coffee morning with a fantastic spread of ‘bakes’ (home-made delights) and ‘fakes’ (store-bought goodies). Who knew we had such talented bakers in the building?! Everyone enjoyed sampling a variety of delicious cakes, pastries and desserts while voting for the top treat. The most important part of course, was the money raised for Macmillan Cancer Support. Our hungry teams dug deep to raise £1708, with Amiosec matching the amount to bring the total to £3416! We would like to thank everyone who baked, faked and donated, as well as Macmillan Cancer Support for the incredible work they do for people living with cancer.

AUKUS Cyber Defence Leaders Unite: Penten and Amiosec announce intention to merge: In a move set to create a leading AUKUS cybersecurity technology firm, Australian digital defence innovator Penten Pty Ltd, headquartered in Canberra and UK cyber innovator Amiosec Ltd, headquartered in Tewkesbury today announced they have reached agreement to combine their world-leading, complementary capabilities.   “We’ve heard directly from our customers: cyber-threats are escalating and increasing in complexity, they want innovative thinking, an agile approach and cost-effective solutions from industry to meet current and emerging threats,” said Adrian Cunningham, Amiosec CEO and Founder. “Through this planned merger, we will use the talents of our combined workforce to drive greater disruptive thinking and expand our offering to our respective nations”. Gearing up for the Cyber Games!🌟 In preparation for the National Cyber Security Centre's #CyberFirst Kunoichi Cyber Games at Japan's prestigious CODE BLUE Conference in November, Amiosec hosted a themed team-building day for some of the women participating in the event. The day provided an opportunity for the group to network ahead of the competition. Activities included: 📍Back-to-back origami: Splitting into pairs and taking turns to describe/fold the paper to make beautiful structures 📍Sushi making: Preparing veggie and fish sushi dishes 📍Escape room challenge: A ‘capture the flag’ style activity involving Japanese logic puzzles, a steganography challenge and more 📍Logo Competition: Everyone created designs for their team logo and merchandise A huge thank you to Amiosec's own Heather Bates whose creativity and attention to detail truly brought the activities to life! It was an honour to host our guests for the day and to support women in STEM. #WomenInSTEM #STEM #Cyber

We’re celebrating a team of young women from the NCSC’s #CyberFirst Bursary scheme who will represent the UK at the first-ever Kunoichi Cyber Games in Tokyo this November, alongside teams from Japan, the USA, and Europe. With women making up just 17% of the cyber workforce, the Kunoichi Cyber Games aims to champion the role of women in cyber security and is a timely announcement on #AdaLovelaceDay, a global celebration of the achievements women have made in STEM. The NCSC’s CyberFirst Bursary supports undergraduates through university, with up to £24K and the chance to work with industry leaders each summer. Learn more about the team taking part⬇️

We are thrilled to share that Amiosec has been selected by the UK’s Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) to develop solutions in electromagnetic targeting and protection as part of the inaugural AUKUS Pillar 2 Electronic Warfare Innovation Challenge. This work will package our decoy technology into a software application that can be installed on different AUKUS military platforms, widening its potential employment and extending protection for allied forces. We’re excited to be working alongside our long-standing Australian technology partner, Penten, to make this happen. Penten has also been selected to deliver the Australian component of the same EW Challenge by Australia’s Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator. Having both businesses win their in-country component of the AUKUS EW Challenge is a fantastic achievement that will harness the combined engineering expertise of both organisations to deliver game-changing capabilities to Defence and Government.
