Here's some Monday maths with a twist in our latest #GCHQPuzzle!
Today, Cyber1st had our annual fang-tastic Halloween bake off! Starring a depiction of Highgate Cemetery, a chocolate skake (snake cake) and Black Forest gateau trifle, it's great to get an opportunity to support another local charity – Blue Box Belper – who provide essential services in our local area. It was a very competitive afternoon – who gets your vote?
Cyber1st were spoiled recently with another visit from the Just-Ice team! Just-Ice are a local charity who fight against human trafficking by making their own ice cream! Providing employment, training and support to victims whilst they get back on their feet, Just-Ice live up to their values of freedom, fairness, fun and friendship. It was a pleasure to have them back and to support such a wonderful cause.

It's time to get your thinking caps on with today's #GCHQPuzzle 🧢
Yesterday was the launch of the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal. The most visible and easily accessible way of supporting those who’ve served. Many veterans, serving soldiers and volunteers will be in towns and cities across the county supporting the poppy appeal. Cyber1st are committed to serving those who have served by being a proud member of the Armed Forces Covenant and supporting the poppy appeal this year and for many more to come. #poppyappeal #royalbritishlegion
Cyber1st recently enjoyed a great trip to Spring Lakes in Nottingham. It was packed with activities that combined fun and productive team building! We enjoyed raft building, kayaking, navigating the aqua park, a BBQ and compared our Blu Tac models with varying degrees of success… Our Away Days are to help us take a moment from the day to day to bring some levity and check in with each other. We were able to reflect on the past few extremely busy months and look ahead with renewed energy. Ten points to anyone who can identify the model in the 4th picture.
Richard Horn, CEO of National Cyber Security Centre, recently highlighted the widening gap between cyber threats and defence capabilities. Read here about why global coalitions and industry collaboration are so critical in tackling the security threat. https://lnkd.in/eWuemsFn #NCSC #Cyber #Defence #Collaboration
Cyber1st were glad to be hosted by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire Mrs Elizabeth Fothergill CBE and the East Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadets Association at the Armed Forces Covenant Awards evening last week. Our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and their families is important to us. We look forward to sharing more with you about how we’re demonstrating our gratitude, respect and support at Cyber1st. #armedforcescovenant #supportourtroops #forcesfamily
We have had a great first time exhibiting at #DVD2024 engaging with the land community about their complex security challenges and how Cyber1st can help. If we missed you, just reach out to William Gimson or Lucy A to talk about your operational needs and we will work with you to see how we can solve them. #DVD2024 #UTAC #cybersecurity #NCSC
