The 8-11 July 2024, 478 activists, service providers, funders, government partners, and members of UN agencies discussed and shared key learnings to support a stronger, more resilient movement for abortion rights worldwide. The Global Safe Abortion Dialogue 2024 virtual convening highlighted three key areas: Campaigning and advocacy, political and legal environments, and self-managed abortion. We explored these themes through 15 learning and skills-building sessions led by global advocates and experts. This summary report brings together the rich and diverse conversations that underline our shared commitment to continue to advocate for everyone, no matter where they live, to access safe abortion and fulfill their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Du 8 au 11 juillet 2024, 478 militants, prestataires de services, bailleurs de fonds, partenaires gouvernementaux et membres d'agences des Nations unies ont discuté et partagé des enseignements clés pour soutenir un mouvement plus fort en faveur des droits à l'avortement dans le monde entier. La réunion virtuelle du Dialogue mondial sur l'avortement sécurisé 2024 a mis l'accent sur trois domaines clés : Les campagnes et le plaidoyer, les environnements politiques et juridiques, et l'avortement autogéré. Nous avons exploré ces thèmes à travers 15 sessions d'apprentissage et de renforcement des compétences animées par des défenseurs et des experts mondiaux. Ce rapport de synthèse rassemble les conversations riches et diverses qui soulignent notre engagement commun à continuer de plaider pour que chacun.e, où qu'il vive, ait accès à un avortement sécurisé et puisse exercer ses droits et sa santé sexuels et reproductifs (DSSR). AmplifyChange is thrilled to be a part of the Symposium Advisory Committee for the upcoming Global Partnership Forum on CSE Symposium!

Début octobre, 537 défenseur·es, organisations, prestataires, décideur·euses politiques et bailleurs de fonds œuvrant pour mettre fin à la violence sexuelle et basée sur le genre (#VSBG) dans 57 pays ont participé au dialogue virtuel inaugural Faire entendre nos voix contre les VBG 2024. À travers 13 sessions dirigées par la société civile et abordant les meilleures pratiques en matière de plaidoyer, de prestation de services holistiques, de soutien juridique et de changement des normes sociales, la communauté s'est unie pour construire une compréhension commune de la #VSBG et de ce qui est nécessaire pour renforcer et soutenir le mouvement en faveur d'un changement positif. AmplifyChange est fier d'avoir organisé cet événement important et inspirant avec nos partenaires du comité de pilotage Migration & Asylum Project (MAP), African Women's Development Fund (AWDF), Stop au Chat Noir, Reach Out Cameroon, et Women's Action Group (WAG). Nous sommes reconnaissants à tous les intervenant·es et participant·es d'avoir fourni des discussions riches et engageantes. Early October, 537 advocates, organisations, providers, policy makers, and funders working to end sexual and gender-based violence (#SGBV) from across 57 countries participated in the inaugural Speak Out to End GBV 2024 virtual dialogue. Through 13 civil-society led sessions addressing best practices in advocacy, holistic service provision, legal support, and social norm change, the community united to build common understanding of #SGBV and what is needed to strengthen and support the movement for positive change. AmplifyChange is proud to have convened this important and inspiring event with our partners Migration & Asylum Project (MAP), African Women's Development Fund (AWDF), Stop au Chat Noir, Reach Out Cameroon, and Women's Action Group (WAG). We are grateful to all the speakers and participants for providing rich and engaging discussions. We look forward to reflecting on the dialogue and sharing the summary report with you soon, highlighting key recommendations and actions.  #GBVDialogue2024
