Yesterday, Asteroid Mining Corporation Ltd completed the signing of an MOU with ispace, inc. in a public ceremony at the 75th International Astronomical Congress in Milan. This new agreement will see ispace carry AMC’s SCAR-E robot to the lunar surface as part of ispaces planned missions for the near future. A huge thank you to Takeshi Hakamada, Masayuki Urata (浦田 真幸) & Juliana Merege, for being part of this historic moment in the history of the Moon. If anyone is at IAC and wants to catch up with me to hear more about our plans at AMC drop me a message and we can find a time for a meeting.

AMC is 'over the Moon' to announce that we are partnering with ispace, inc. and have reached an agreement for a space robotics demonstration on a future ispace mission to the lunar surface. The memorandum of understanding signed by both companies provides a framework for collaboration that envisions a future mission in which an ispace lunar lander will deliver an AMC’s space robot, the Space Capable Asteroid Robotic – Explorer or SCAR-E, to the lunar surface as a technology demonstration for future asteroid mining efforts. In space SCAR-E can be used for resource exploration on asteroids and the Moon, capable of tackling terrain such as craters that is currently inaccessible to conventional wheeled rovers. A huge thanks to the ispace and AMC teams spread across our planet as we work together to foster the beginnings of a new era in outer space: the birth of the Cis-Lunar economy. The time has come once again to officially open the Asteroid Mining Corporation Summer Internship Programme 2024 for applications. This will be our 6th consecutive year of summer internships; having now incubated the careers of over 250 bright young minds from some of the finest universities on this planet. This year, we have our most exciting project yet for prospective interns. I can't say too much for now; but we will be working on a lunar mission design for a real life mission that is currently in the early stages of development. This is the your chance to get on the ground experience in space mission design and engineering, with a project that has a strong chance of flying in the coming 2/3 years. The most exceptional candidates will be offered an interview by the AMC Board for our extremely selective Fast Track Industrial Leadership programme (less than 0.1% acceptance rate vs general internship applications), to work directly with the AMC Board Some of our previous Fast Track Industrial leaders have went on to start their own space companies, work for JAXA, ESA and NASA, build fiendishly cool robots, get jobs at some of London's top law firms, go onto research PhDs and even work underground in some of the deepest mines in the world. If you're looking to put some rocket fuel under your career, whether your passion is engineering, science, law, or business, drop AMC a line through the contact form on our website. We welcome applicants from all disciplines and backgrounds. Space belongs to everyone, and we all have a role to play in building our interplanetary future. The hardest thing to do is to make yourself believe you can do something, everything else comes naturally from there. We'll be commencing interviews from next week. https://lnkd.in/djmEXgs7
