Our partner Onur Canlitepe participated in the 44th edition of GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World / Expand North Star, last week. It was a great opportunity to connect with the global tech community 🌍. With over 1,800 startups and participation from 180+ countries, the GITEX event showcased innovation across AI, energy, climate tech, industrial technologies, mobility, and more. The scale of the event, focusing on startups and other technology companies, was truly impressive, spanning 12 halls filled with entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate and public stakeholders from around the globe. We also had the chance to meet with various industry leaders and innovators, particularly in our focus areas of industrial digitalization and decarbonization 🌱. This event allowed us to establish meaningful connections in the MENA region, where we look forward to expanding our reach and fostering new business and co-investment opportunities. It’s encouraging to see the MENA region, and specifically, the UAE, emerging as a major regional technology investor, even in the early stages. As part of the ZETTAS project by NATEP - National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme, they have developed a new software feature that enables the production of aerospace-grade composite tools using Large Format Additive Manufacturing. This innovation addresses the challenges of thermal expansion in autoclave environments, allowing for layers that conform to the surface and a consistent expansion factor. As a result, Aibuild achieves up to an 80% reduction in CAM and toolpath preparation time, significantly lowering production costs and accelerating time-to-market.
