Since 2010, we have joined a select group of third-party accredited, and members of the ASFP, specialist contractors suitably qualified to carry out this life safety trade.
Passive Fire Protection - so important yet mostly hidden behind walls, floors, ceilings and therefore previously seen as a ‘dark art’!
No longer!! Now with emerging digital technology, each seal is photographed before and after work completed to provide the audit trail required.
Cavity barriers, structural steel protection protected by intumescent or board; airtightness sealing for data server rooms or energy efficiency; service penetration sealing through walls and floors, and so on, are key elements of our works and require detailed review of substrate and fire performance requirements to ensure the correctly tested product is selected.
Our drive was always to change and improve performance and traceability of the trade by engaging with training organisations, local and central government to identify improvements and striving for these to be incorporated into new and improved training standards.
We can’t work on every property, but by making sure the fire and life safety critical data is made available to those that do, we can support everyone.
