🔍 Inside a Day with Barnsley Hospital’s Tobacco Treatment Advisor: Stoptober Edition 🔍 As Stoptober comes towards an end, we spotlight Lucy and the Healthy Lives team, who are at the heart of our smoking cessation efforts. Each Thursday, they roll out the “Spin the Wheel” – a unique way to connect with staff and patients, providing a lighter approach to a serious mission. With free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) options and ongoing support, they’re there for everyone considering the quit journey. Today, the support of our hospital leadership made all the difference, reinforcing the importance of smoke-free initiatives. One of Lucy’s favourite success stories? A 12-week journey with a staff member who’s now proudly smoke-free and helping others make the same change.
