Still looking great 10 years on. We learned a great deal from this project and working with Howells- simple, restrained, high quality materials responding well to the dockside context.

It's wonderful to be able to use your skills to create the perfect setting for 'dazzling displays'! Can't wait to see what the Oldham events team come up with. There's just the small matter of building it to negotiate first but with a first class team including Tilbury Douglas, Ellis Williams, Arup, Curtins, Buro Happold, Turner & Townsend and ourselves we are confident that this will be a welcome addition to Oldham's public realm. Many thanks to Chris and Paul at LSH for getting it over the line with planning consent.

Such a buzz to watch this mature as the green infrastructure thrives. On a warm sunny day it has a 'continental' vibe and achieves the objective of creating something that is distinctive, increasing 'dwell time'. Loads more space for wildlife, rainwater and people on 2 wheels and none!

Excited to share that our work for Conwy County Borough Council on the Colwyn Bay Waterfront Phase 2b Scheme supporting Mott MacDonald has won a BREEAM Infrastructure Outstanding Award scoring just under 93%!  This project phase has greatly improved Rhos-on-Sea both in terms of coastal defence and wider community outcomes, bringing together the best in design, engineering, planning, and strategic placemaking. BCAL are pleased that Legal & General's excellent York & Elder scheme at Longley Place in Brighton has picked up a Love to Rent "Best Build to Rent Scheme (South) award. It was a joy to work on this scheme with EPR Architects, McAleer & Rushe, Lister + Lister, Robert Bird Group, Cast Consultancy, WSP, Savills, and others TNTM. It is always satisfying and humbling when all the hard work by so many that goes on from site acquisition to handover and beyond is recognised. York & Elder marked our 4,000th new home delivered on site in the BTR sector, with 6,000 more in planning or under construction........
