On January 28th in London, ABB Motion and Electrification held the first ‘Energy Efficiency Symposium’ in the UK. The event welcomed speakers from the UK government, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero , IHG Hotels & Resorts Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) and MEP leaders from the #HVAC and buildings sectors, to come together for a day of presentations, discussion and workshops around the theme of “Is human comfort compatible with energy efficiency?” 🌿👍 It was fantastic to see the engagement from our guests from over 40 different companies! ABB’s technologies in Motion and Electrification have a key facilitating role to play in shifting the dial on net zero. Our high efficiency motors and variable speed drives are helping buildings around the country to save vast amounts of energy, all without compromising on comfort.
