Our project manager, Mark Constantine, set the challenge – we want our Be.EV contractors to build more sustainably… And, Morrison Energy Services have answered the call – cue the sustainable welfare cabins 🚧⚡ These eco-friendly cabins, since being on site, have used just 1 litre of diesel, thanks to solar panels that power heat, lighting, and everything in between. They even harvest rainwater for the toilets! Sustainability isn't just about what we build, but how we build it and while we’re powering the EV revolution (one of the biggest levers), we know the drive to Net-Zero is a full-package deal – which is why our supply chain has a big role to play. Sure, there are countless sustainability factors at play during construction projects, but every improvement, no matter the size, is a step in the right direction and deserves recognition. Chargers where they count – powering up the NHS ⚡️💙 We’re committed to putting EV chargers where they make the biggest difference, and this week, we’ve officially powered up 36 fast charging bays (up to 7kW) at North Manchester General Hospital (M8 5RB), supporting NHS staff, patients, visitors and the local community.  While it may not be our most powerful location or match the profile of our usual ultra-rapid Charging Hubs, but it's exactly what’s needed here – giving NHS workers and others a convenient way to charge, for longer periods, while they care for those who need it most. 🔌 36 fast charging bays ⚡️ Up to 7kW    A special thanks to everyone who made this possible. Sheffield, we’ve finally plugged in! ⚡ The city has been crying out for better EV charging infrastructure for a while – we’ve heard it from our EV community, drivers, online, offline… everywhere! So, we’ve delivered in a big way – our first-ever Sheffield Charging Hub is now live at Parkway Central Retail Park (S2 5AU), featuring: 🔌 9 charging bays (including one fully-accessible bay & 3 waiting bays)  ⚡️ Up to 150kW CCS (and a CHAdeMO connector) 💚 60p/kWh for the next month Whether drivers are grabbing a Greggs, a Starbucks, or just passing through, they can now charge up in the heart of the city with ease! Right off the A57, and surrounded by retail favourites, this new hub is ready to transform EV charging in the area. We’ve also built big for the future. Big appointments, bigger ambitions – we’re delighted to welcome four new leaders onto our board ⚡️🤝   Connecting the dots (and chargers) across the UK, our refreshed board is more equipped than ever to build upon our customer-first promise to deliver EV charging solutions where drivers need them most.    Meet Garren Nahabedian, joining us as a strategic advisor from Octopus Energy Group! With a wealth of knowledge in technology and electric vehicles, Garren has been instrumental as Head of Partnerships at the pioneering global public charging app, Octopus Electroverse.   Also joining the board is Marie-France van Heel, our very own Chief Customer Officer, who brings experience from a long-standing career in marketing and customer strategy in both B2C and B2B having worked with brands like Sky, P&G, the Natural History Museum, (RED), Disney and many more.    Richard Powell is stepping up to Non-Executive Director, bringing his extensive expertise in the real estate sector.
