Beam - allergen free snacks (HFSS Compliant)

Well this is a week I won’t forget for a very long time 🥰 I grew up in a family business and I watched my father work incredibly hard through the years to grow his engineering business. For me, he is a huge inspiration in my life, and being immersed in that environment whilst growing up, meant it was always a natural thought that I may one day be able to do that myself. I appreciate that the majority of people don’t have access to that kind of entrepreneurial environment, and unfortunately many who cannot name a single female founder. When you hear the words ‘business owner’, or ‘CEO’, you probably naturally think of a male figure. Worse again, there are 30% fewer female entrepreneurs in the UK compared to the US, and only 3% of funded British businesses are female founded.💁🏼♀️ This March @wholefoodsuk and @buywomenbuilt are shining a light on 38 female founders, including myself, to showcase the amazing female founded brands that adorn the shelves of Whole Foods. It’s a complete privilege to share this space with some hugely inspirational leading female founders and hopefully this campaign can show other women and young girls (including my own 3 daughters) that maybe there is a chance for them also one day to be a female founder. 🌱 We had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at the Holland & Barrett #OneH&B colleague conference and supplier expo earlier this week. 🌿 Being amid industry leaders, forward-thinking brands, and the evidently passionate team of colleagues from H&B was an enriching experience. We spread the word about Beam, sampling our products to over 1500 people, and got valuable insights that will undoubtedly pave the way for more sustainable and customer-centric offerings in the future.
