Today marks a huge step forward for cycling in Wales, as Wheel Together becomes the first Limitless Focus Club in the country 🏴 This incredible achievement, supported by the Limitless Focus Club grant from British Cycling, will help Wheel Together provide adaptive cycling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, making cycling more inclusive and accessible for all. At Beicio Cymru, we’re proud to collaborate with British Cycling on this important initiative and look forward to seeing the positive impact Wheel Together will have on the community. We hope this milestone inspires other clubs across Wales to join the movement towards inclusive cycling. If you're a member of a club and interested to hear how you can take steps toward becoming more inclusive or want to learn more about the Limitless programme, don’t hesitate to reach out to Robbie George for a chat. #LimitlessFocus #InclusiveCycling #AdaptiveCycling #CyclingForAll

World Mental Health Day 🌍 We know the importance of supporting each other, especially on a day like today. Last week, our team came together for some away days, knowing that staying connected is essential when we’re spread across Wales and all have very different, and busy roles 🏴 We spent time focusing on our new strategy, bonding through team games, and enjoyed a night out with dinner, drinks, and some friendly competition at Flight Club. Here's to the next one! 😍 #WorldMentalHealthDay #TeamSupport #AwayDays #Wales

Standing with the Welsh Mountain biking community 🚵♀️ At Beicio Cymru, we are proud to be part of a collaborative effort to address the significant impact of recent cuts by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) on the mountain biking sector. These changes threaten not just a vital part of our outdoor culture, but also the local economy, tourism, and our community’s connection to nature. In response, we have joined forces with over 90 other organisations, co-signing a letter to the Welsh Government, urging for action and a balanced approach to safeguarding our natural trails. Key partners in this initiative include Beicio Cymru, Cycling UK, the UK MTB Trail Alliance, Mountain Bike Wales, and the Wales Adventure Tourism Organisation (WATO). Together, we aim to ensure the future of mountain biking in Wales remains strong and sustainable.
