The holiday season tis warming up at Inspirational Group and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve officially launched our support for The Salvation Army UK and Ireland Territory’s Christmas Present Campaign! It’s a cause near and dear to our hearts, and as a B-Corp, we’re all about giving back in ways that align with our values—people, community, and “doing the right thing”.   We’re so grateful for the warm response we’ve had since launching this campaign. It’s inspiring to see everyone coming together to make a difference, whether it’s through the purchasing of gifts, making monetary donations, spreading the word or helping out with the logistics. ✨ Inspiration can often be found in the lasting legacy of those who lead with integrity and impact. Our Senior Consultant, LANCE GERRARD-WRIGHT, recently shared a personal story that illustrates just that. “My father was my most inspirational figure. From 1970 to 1972, he led his battalion through challenging times. In the Sergeant’s Mess, there’s a block and gavel used for formal dinners. Recently, a new one was donated by a veteran who now works with one of London’s Livery companies. The dedication on this gavel is to the memory of my father, who had been his commanding officer all those years ago.” Even over 50 years since handing over command, Lance’s father’s name lives on as a reminder of the profound impact he made on those he led. It’s a beautiful example of how leadership leaves an enduring mark, shaping not only the lives of those it touches directly but also the legacy that carries on. As for Lance, he’s found his own “happy place”—whether leading with purpose or lost in the music with his guitar. 🎸 Here’s to honoring those who inspire us, past and present. #BeInspirational #LegacyInLeadership #MondayMotivation

This holiday season, we are supporting and promoting The Salvation Army UK and Ireland Territory in bringing joy and hope to children in need across the UK. We are participating in their Christmas Present Appeal by donating and collecting presents that we will then pass on to the charity to distribute to families whose children would not otherwise receive a gift. It's a key part of our B Corp commitment to make a difference in our community. And you can get involved too! Each week, we share a story or moment that reflects our purpose of leadership for a better tomorrow, aiming to uplift and inspire our community. This week, we honor the memory of Bob Jones, former Director of Leadership at the Inspirational Development Group, who passed away nine years ago. Bob was a guiding light for many of us—colleagues, clients, and participants alike. His influence continues to shape who we are today. Our COO, Heather, shares a personal reflection on Bob’s remarkable legacy: "A Whoopah to Bob Jones! We recently marked the 9th year anniversary of Bob's passing. Bob was an inspiration to many of us, including colleagues, clients, and participants, many of whom have said he changed their lives forever. His passion, charisma, and sense of presence were extraordinary, and I was privileged to work with him for six years before his passing. You certainly knew when Bob was around—his broad Liverpudlian accent, his big laugh, and his quick wit and storytelling were in abundance. Time spent with him was always thought-provoking and memorable. I learned so much from my dear friend Bob, and I know he would be proud of the evolution of the Inspirational Group. He always said, 'Never allow us to become MDG—the Mediocre Development Group,' and I am sure if he were here with us today, he would agree that we have kept our word, and he would be proud of what we are achieving." Heather’s reflection is shared by so many who knew Bob. His impact on our team and his unforgettable personality are beautifully summed up in these words from colleagues: "An inspiration to so many. Uncompromisingly unique—once met, never forgotten!" "Bob was one of the most passionate people I’ve had the joy of knowing. His infectious personality always motivated you to perform at your highest level." "A force of nature. When I first met him, he made me feel like anything was possible. He pushed me to be the best version of myself, and I will always be grateful for that." We close with one of Bob’s favorite sayings: "Do or do not. There is no Try."
