When contractor NRA Roofing & Flooring Services Ltd. was tasked with designing the roof for the brand-new Bradford Market, they had to carefully balance modern aesthetics, sustainability and performance. To deliver a solution for this landmark project, our Technical Team worked closely with NRA Roofing to address the specific requirements with a Monarplan PVC Single-ply Waterproofing system. Combined with high levels of craftsmanship, the project delivered striking results - which is why we're thrilled to see it shortlisted in this year's NFRC awards! Wow, what a year it has been. It’s strange to think that this time last year I was preparing for my next big adventure—becoming CEO of BMI Group. I’ve got to know the company that I now think of as home against a global backdrop of construction market pressures, economic uncertainty, and heartbreaking conflicts. But true colours shine through in difficult times—and to me, BMI’s colours shine incredibly bright. I saw this so clearly when I visited our locations worldwide and in my conversations with our loyal customers. I see it every day in the diversity, passion, expertise and love our colleagues bring to BMI, as they genuinely live our purpose of Building New Horizons. With our sales teams, I’ve met our largest customers, and sat with small customers at kitchen tables with their families. I’ve visited production lines and met with our dedicated warehousing and manufacturing teams, who I can tell you wake up every day obsessed with delivering a quality product - even those who’ve been doing it for 40 years! I’ve worked with our installation businesses, our customer service agents, the instructors on our industry renowned technical courses and our revered scientists, to name but a few of the hundreds of people who have generously shared their time and knowledge this year. We are ready for the challenges that the new year may bring. As this year comes to an end, I’m excited to lead BMI to unleash its fullest potential in the years to come, and continue to be inspired by the special connection we share amongst everyone in our extended BMI family of colleagues and customers.
