We are thrilled to announce that a project to streamline the navigation certification process, led by the Navigation and Seamanship team at BMT, has been extended after an initial two-year contract which realised significant cost savings for our customer. Navigation As A Service (NAAS) provides navigation submissions for certification, horizon scanning, and the associated future impact to eleven classes of Royal Navy warship. Navigation submissions are required by Platform Authorities to prove that their class of ship is navigationally safe to operate. The forward-looking approach delivered by BMT ensures consistency and efficiency for the Platform Authorities and has resulted in significant cost savings of 38% to date over the two years. The project extension means that steady state navigation support provision will continue, enabling further cost savings to be realised. Please contact Toby Drywood, Senior Sales Manager, if you would like to find out more about our naval architecture and navigation expertise. https://bit.ly/3MzqrdF #Navigation #NavalArchitecture #RoyalNavy
