Brilliant to be a part of the Fair Education Alliance Innovation Award final last week and delighted to have been invited onto the alumni panel to share about Boromi's journey over the past seven years. Sitting in the audience looking at the alumni board on the screen and hearing all that has been achieved was a real 'pause and reflect' moment. Not only for Boromi's journey these past seven years, or my own personal journey. But of all the innovators and organisations who have done and achieved so much - many of whom were in the room, cheering on the finalists! I'm SO proud to be a part of this passionate, committed and hard working bunch. I discussed on the panel that a pivotal moment for us as an organisation was when we (Boromi) truly started to see ourselves as part of a bigger ecosystem. To look beyond what we were doing in a silo and see this as part of a greater movement, and that movement was palpable on Thursday evening. Huge well done to all the FEA team, and congratulations again to the finalists Sean Harris FCCT Alaya Holloway Yusuf Ben-Tarifite Yasmin B. Charly Young MBE Jenna Maudlin and Molly Forbes, very much looking forward to following your journey over the coming year and beyond.
