Celebrating Welsh in our schools! Staff and the ‘Criw Cymraeg’, the ‘Welsh Crew’ pupils, are committed to promoting the Welsh language and culture in every nook and cranny of our schools! Primary and secondary schools across the borough are embracing the Siarter Iaith and Siarter Iaith Cymraeg Campus – a Welsh Government initiative to inspire children and young people to speak Welsh in all aspects of their lives The scheme offers a Welsh Language Charter, providing schools with a framework to develop the Welsh language and a Welsh ethos across all areas of the school. Schools are able to achieve either bronze, silver or gold awards for their efforts in following the framework. Promoting high standards of conduct and probity for local councillors, the council’s Standards Committee meet three times a year, and where necessary, will additionally hold meetings to determine the outcome of a complaint against a councillor. These hearings take place during the day and normally only last for one day. These codes mislead you to PaybyPhonie.com, a scam page mimicking the legitimate PayByPhone service. Additionally, fraudulent links pretending to be from RingGo have surfaced. Always ensure you are using the official PaybyPhone or RingGo services for secure transactions.
