Welcome back to class, Scottish schools! 👋 We've teamed up with Dynamic Earth Edinburgh to bring you a live online workshop from the #RRSSirDavidAttenborough next week. You'll meet polar scientist Dr Bryony Freer and the expedition team (look at this lovely lot!), who are currently working off the coast of Greenland to investigate melting glaciers and the impact of climate change. Bryony will give you a tour of the ship and take questions from classes across Scotland. He's one of our Mechanical Techs at King Edward Point in South Georgia - just the latest in a continuous run of Antarctic jobs since 2021, including the UK's Rothera Research Station and Aotearoa New Zealands's Scott base! It's amazing what amazing experiences you can get used to - but he can't get enough of working in Antarctica.
