Introducing the second panellist for our upcoming event, ‘The Cover Is Now’ ✨ Serlina Boyd is the founder of Cocoa, the UK’s first Black children’s magazines (Cocoa Girl and Cocoa Boy). The magazines - which were driven by a desire to build Serlina’s then 6-year-old daughter’s confidence after she experienced bullying at school because of the colour of her skin - give Black children a voice whilst educating the community about the Black culture.
