Her role encompasses the art direction of our digital covers, the animation of our forthcoming video franchises, designing Cosmo's social media presence and the curation of the visual identity across Cosmopolitan UK. Notably, her contributions to the world of design were recently recognised with the prestigious BSME's 2023 Designer of the Year award. During his time there he has overseen two redesigns of the magazine and one of the website. Sonny won the BSME 2017 - B2B Cover of the year with his iconic Grenfell cover. Former BSME chair Deborah Joseph has left her role as editor-in-chief of Glamour after seven amazing years. She’s currently the art director of History Today as well as art editor of Eye, the international review of graphic design. Holly founded award winning Pit in in 2016 and Cheese in 2020. Introducing the second panellist for our upcoming event, ‘The Cover Is Now’ ✨ Serlina Boyd is the founder of Cocoa, the UK’s first Black children’s magazines (Cocoa Girl and Cocoa Boy). The magazines - which were driven by a desire to build Serlina’s then 6-year-old daughter’s confidence after she experienced bullying at school because of the colour of her skin - give Black children a voice whilst educating the community about the Black culture.
