The Built Environment Trust's exhibition Little Investigators is open until the 6th November - make your way to the Building Centre to see the wonderful work created by children in London. There's sketches and models, sound bites and recordings - it's a must see exhibition and completely free. As a further resource for adults, Head of Learning, Sandra Hedblad, has compiled a report of the workshop findings. We are really pleased that some of the net zero social housing projects that Cornerstone Place is delivering will be featured as part of the #NewHomesInNewWays exhibition which is launching at the Building Centre in London next week. We strongly believe and have demonstrated that it is possible to turn disused public land, ("small sites") into valuable publicly owned housing assets which deliver multi-generational impact whilst keeping ownership within asset-locked bodies, and supported by social and LHA rents. Some of our case studies and project numbers have fed into the overall project analysis and will be showcased at the exhibition which runs until 21st February next year. We are proud to be a venue once again for the Bloomsbury Festival - 26 Writers takes residence in our Gallery 2 space from 18th October. This exhibition is what happens when 13 writers and 13 poets collaborate on the theme of Human.Kind. Together, 26 Writers and Barbican Young Poets came together to write poems on the theme. The exhibition features visual displays and interpretations of the poems. Essays about the process are published daily on the Bloomsbury Festival website. The exhibition is free to attend and located on the lower ground floor of the Building Centre. The Building Centre is a Hub for the Built Environment and features a lively and welcoming cafe on the ground floor. All welcome! https://lnkd.in/eeBUSA-z

Children will spend a fun few hours, sketching and paintings birds and learning about their connection to the built environment. I love the differences in approach, the sheer variety says so much about the festival theme 'human.kind'.
