This is a major milestone for us as we continue to focus on putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. We’re working hard to help our customers get the most value out of their health insurance and that it remains relevant to their family and individual needs. Roy Morgan said Bupa received the award “thanks to its consumer-centric approach, and professionalism. Australians highlighted their trust in Bupa due to the brand’s reliability, and dedication to building long-lasting relationships.” Thank you to our 4.4 million health insurance customers for trusting Bupa with their health and wellbeing needs and to our team that works hard every day to support all of our customers.

Almost one in five of us are ignoring Optometrist prescriptions which spells a real problem when it comes to Aussies' health and wellbeing. Even more concerning is that that some people are unaware of what is covered under Medicare with 21 per cent saying they skip eye tests because of costs despite regular eye tests being fully covered. Bupa Optical & Hearing Director, Adrian Kemp said "it's concerning that some Australians may be needlessly going about their lives with vision impairments which may negatively impact their ability to be at their best at work, drive safely or learn to their full potential." "Amidst the current cost-of-living environment, it's vital people know that eye tests can be done quickly, can be bulk-billed for Medicare card holders and don't require a GP's referral."
