1 in 5 young people in Camden face mental health challenges, 33% higher than the national average. 📊 With funding from our #FutureForwardFund, Fitzrovia Youth in Action is expanding its Camden Social Prescribing Programme. The programme will prioritise young people on waiting lists for mental health support, those disengaged from school, or struggling with emotional resilience. The funding will go towards hiring more mentors, providing transportation, and offering tailored support. Through 1-to-1 sessions, 45 young people will access art workshops, sports, and wellbeing support, building confidence and reducing isolation. This programme is giving young people the tools they need to improve their wellbeing and stay connected. 💚

Yesterday, we introduced Coram's Fields Youth Outreach Programme. Today we’re giving you a glimpse into how funding decisions are made. A panel of Camden residents aged 16 to 25 decided to fund this project through our Future Forward Fund. They recognised the programme’s impact in supporting young people facing gang violence, offering aftercare, and making help more accessible. This is how we work.
