Reacting to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's speech speech today on reform of public services, our CEO, Adolfo Hernandez said: "The Prime Minister is right that AI presents a golden opportunity that we must seize. At Capita we are injecting AI into our own processes and the public services that we run for Government. "Revolutionising service provision in both public and private sectors requires a fundamental rethinking of human-machine collaboration. "While it will require a huge technological shift, the real challenges are in mindset, culture and capability. I am encouraged that Government is determined to be bold and we are playing our part to help make this change happen in a transformational and responsible way. We should start small and be nimble, encouraging small-scale AI trials to learn from successes and failures.  "Capita is trialling AI tools that are already making a real difference to citizens, marrying the technical know-how of global technology providers like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Salesforce to blend AI with our experience of large scale service delivery.
