Thrilled to be given to chance to complete my industry placement with Capsule Communications Ltd beauty pr and communications agency. Throughout my time at the company I was able to experience the fast-pace industry and how to overcome challenges that occur in such a busy environment. I gained a number of invaluable skills, while being assigned new tasks each day, that I will be able to transfer into my future career. I am extremely greatful to have been given this opportunity through the Fashion Retail Academy as this is an area of the industry I am extremely interested in perusing. The tasks I was assigned gave me opportunities to learn and gain knowledge from a first hand perspective. These included: 🌟Researching and analysing industry trends and insights to aid brand pitches which I was given the opportunity to write. 🌟Influencer research and outreach to determine who fit the brand and communicating to discuss gifting. 🌟Event preperation and organisation for the launch of the Sculpted by Aimee flagship store on Carnaby street. While working on the influencer event I was super excited to get to meet Aimee herself! 🌟Brand seeding and packaging of products to suit each individual. 🌟Digital coverage and features which allowed the agency to see which brands were gaining traction 🌟Time management when collecting and transporting products for events, this included visiting the headquarters of my dream shoe brand which was an incredible experience! 🌟Admin tasks- Organising stock, using trackers and email communication 🌟Discussing with the team about their personal career pathways for advice and inspiration. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would like to say a huge thank you to Xena Camp and the rest of the Capsule team for being so welcoming and supportive during my time there. It was a pleasure to work with you all!
