Would you say you have a PERSONAL BRAND? Developing a personal brand is how you promote yourself and differentiate yourself from other people. It’s about showcasing your skills, passions, values, and personality in a way that resonates with others and opens opportunities and allows us to stand out in both our professional and personal lives. This self-awareness radiates confidence and authenticity, enabling us to build genuine connections with others. When people understand our brand, they can better appreciate our contributions and align with our vision. Moreover, a well-crafted personal brand helps employers, clients and colleagues see the value we bring to the table, making us more attractive candidates for jobs, projects, and partnerships. In a competitive market, having a distinctive personal brand sets us apart and makes a lasting impression. By investing in our personal brand, we invest in our future, ensuring that we can reach our goals and make a positive impact. Finding your purpose is a phrase that is often thrown about, but WHY is it so important? A life purpose is an overall vision for YOU based on the things that are most meaningful to you. It’s often a central goal or set of goals that guide decision-making, provide direction, create a sense of meaning, influence behaviours, and determine how we prioritise our time. None of us want to feel like the time and effort we’re pouring into our work and free time aren’t helping us grow. Identifying our true purpose (or purposes) can help spark energy, passion and excitement for the future that we may have never felt before or have only experienced now and then. You can think of the purpose of life as your “why” or the reason you get out of bed each morning. It’s the motivating factor behind many things you do that shape your goals and make you feel like you are on this planet for a reason. “What is my purpose?” is a big question that requires deep self-reflection to answer meaningfully. If you need brainstorming and goal-setting support, please contact us to make a first free consultation. We would love to help you explore your “why”. Incorporating these elements into your life ensures that you stop and think about how important finding your purpose truly is. #selfreflection #selfcare

Burnout is real. It can significantly impact both personal and professional lives. It stems from prolonged stress and overwork, leading to feelings of exhaustion and reduced efficiency. In our fast-paced world, the pressure to constantly perform can be overwhelming and draining. It's crucial to prioritise self-care. What can you do to overcome burnout? *Start by setting clear boundaries between work and personal time. *Take regular breaks to recharge and engage in activities that bring joy and relaxation. *Mindfulness and meditation can also be beneficial in managing stress. *Seek support from colleagues, friends, or mental health professionals when needed. *It's important to communicate openly about your workload and delegate tasks when possible. By recognising the early signs of burnout, we can all take proactive steps to maintain our well-being and sustain long-term productivity.

Bounce back from redundancy, FAST. Most people who have been made redundant: - Are hit with financial stress - Questions of their self worth - Was it me? Was it them? In most cases, the answer is 'it was me' because there is no closure in such event. The company is not going to say it's not you, it's me, hence the only other option is to blame self. This concoction of emotions clouds our judgement, especially when it comes to how we value ourselves. The solution is finding value in yourself when you feel your lowest. You must: - Look back across your career and define moments you are proud of - Learn to tell those stories at a higher priority than your redundancy story - Control your personal brand, your turmoil is internal, the external world does not care and will not carry it for you Here is an example of how to wear your redundancy with pride: 'I was made redundant in my last role, but when I look back across my career I have achieved A, B, C, D and I realised that I need more exposure to my true skills and passion in my next role. My redunadancy has presented me with the perfect opportunity to shift my career in the right direction and lean in on my strengths, that is why I have applied to this role' Woah... recruiter is blown away by your sense of self worth, impressed by your stories and you showed clear resilience to bounce back fast. You are enough, go get it! #redundancy #jobseekers #opentowork
