Spring has sprung and its been another great week at Cargo. This week we enjoyed our first full week based in our new home - Harbour House (more to follow on this); we welcomed Ellie Thompson to the team, also for her first full week (she smashed it out the park BTW). New and exciting work continues to come through our door and as a result we are looking to grow our resource within motion graphics immediately. This is a fixed 4 week contract at our studio in North Shields with the potential for a permanent role. We’re closing and waving goodbye to 2024 on Monday, but yesterday was our last big client engagement and it took the form of a branding workshop with new client Consortium Procurement. It was a great session lead by our creative team with some enjoyable and interesting exercises designed to get everyone thinking differently around where the brand currently sits and what the future looks like. Looking forward to progressing this In January and February, and thanks so much to James Ealey, Chloe Holmes and Drew Frame MCIPS for all of your input, we certainly learned a lot and hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. Bittersweet day in the studio today as we say goodbye to one of our front-end developers Nathan Lawson. Nathan has been with us a little under three years and produced some great work for our clients and became a key member of the team. It’s always sad to see someone move on but glad we have played a part in Nathan’s career development! He leaves us safe in the knowing that he will be looking sharp in his new role wearing some new clobber from his favourite online retailer and here his is modelling some. 🤣🤣🤣

🎂 Milestone announcement! 🎂 We completely missed it last year, but not this year. On Saturday we officially celebrated 15 years of Cargo. Fifteen. One Five. No, we can't believe it either, but its true. 10 years since our awesome 5th birthday bash, and 5 years since the 10th gathering in our then-new studio. Ofcourse we are planning on some celebrations for this one too, but we are having to wait a little while as we have the small task of a studio move on the cards and some projects to get through!!
