There has been something truly special about witnessing the amazingly commitment from SMEs taking part in the Employee Race to Zero over the last few weeks. Here are just some of the headlines of their success: 💚30 SMEs signed up 💚Over 5000 climate actions taken in just 2 weeks 💚Big switches across the hundreds of employees include changing to renewable electricity and swapping away from banks which fund fossil fuel companies Here are just some of amazing experiences that people shared along the way: 👍🏻I had a really old boiler, and Giki inspired me to change to a heat pump. I got a government grant, installation is complete and I am warm and snug! ⭐We are at the very early stages of our environmental sustainability journey and being able to take part in the race has provided a great starting point. 😊The impact even small changes can make, when collectively put together across teams who took part, has resulted in making a genuine difference. 👍🏾The Employee Race to Zero gave people an engagement opportunity to talk across teams & do something that isn't directly related to their work but is important to them & will make their job 'better'. A really good way of bringing people together to kick start a conversation internally about sustainability. Thank you to the amazing team at @highlevelclimatechampions Race to Zero, Tessa Vincent Jane Eisenhardt and to all the fabulous SMEs who joined the Employee Race to Zero, to make a difference and inspire action across their own companies and beyond.
