When we get an opportunity to visit a site, we jump at the chance 👷♀️ McPhillips (Wellington) Limited recently invited us to their public realm works in Kidderminster. This project includes repurposing the old Woolworths site into a welcoming green space with a park and eating area. In 12 months, the site team will have: Tackled a 10 metre elevation ✅ Erected a specialist retaining wall to join the sections of the site ✅ Installed 3 attenuation tanks - one 6 metres deep ✅ Added a new water tunnel to deal with water collection ✅ Recycled and reused materials from the demolished leisure centre ✅ We were mightily impressed with this project and we can't wait to visit again once it's completed. Thank you to Mark Kiddie, Stuart Bishop and Adrian Francis for arranging our visit and answering our many questions! #Site #Construction #Civils #PublicRealm #CECA Lorraine Gregory Lisa Hollington
