Cerebral Palsy Cymru
Fundraising
Cerebral Palsy Cymru is a national centre of excellence in Wales for babies and children who have cerebral palsy.
About us
Cerebral Palsy Cymru is Wales’ leading charity for babies and children who have cerebral palsy. We provide specialist therapy and support to families and children across Wales living with cerebral palsy. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all children in Wales living with cerebral palsy. At Cerebral Palsy Cymru, we focus on the ability, not the disability. Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in children in the world, and it is estimated that every 5 days, a baby is born in Wales who will have the condition. As a registered charity, we need to raise £1.5M every year to continue to provide our current level of service. 80% of this total comes from fundraising activities such as regular donations, gifts in wills, fundraising events and the income from our charity shops. We know that the more money we raise, the more families and children we can see. Because we know – we can make a life-changing difference.

Diolch Joy!! If you’re interested in running the London Marathon or Cardiff Half Marathon with us, we have spaces available - please get in touch 💚
I completed the London Marathon for Cerebral Palsy Cymru in 2015… 10 years later (after two children, an additional 2 stone and a little more than 2 spare minutes a day) I’m going to attempt it again! This time I’ll be running with Cyril the Cerebral Palsy bear to help raise money for this brilliant charity. Cyril has spent the past year going on adventures with lots of families that use this vital service but this may be his most gruelling adventure yet. If you are able, I have included a link for our JustGiving page. Diolch yn Fawr 🌟 https://lnkd.in/ehq4wFyF
