Campaigns like R U OK? have encouraged us to check in with our loved ones and to ask if they are ok, really? But what about the flip side? What about those who answer that question with a simple, 'Yeah I'm good thanks', when really they are anything but? It is ok to say you are not ok. You are not being a burden. You are not being dramatic. Your struggles and feelings are valid and deserve to be heard. So please, let them be heard by someone you trust.
