Share your thoughts 💭 Do you have an interest in digital innovation and the use of AI to enhance your fundraising? In collaboration with The Centre for Digital Innovation in Philanthropy and Fundraising at the University of York and Durham University, we invite you to take part in a special survey on the future of AI in fundraising. The survey results will shape our understanding of how fundraisers, philanthropists, and the non-profit sector view the introduction and adoption of AI technologies for the purpose of fundraising and of incentivising philanthropy. This survey closes on Friday 29 November and results will be shared in the new year. Take part here: https://bit.ly/3YgS40E

Are you interested in charity governance and able to think critically, challenge constructively, and contribute to healthy discussions? We're recruiting for two key governance committees that support our priorities of championing and celebrating fundraisers. The Finance & Resources Committee oversees finance and wider resources, and we're particularly interested in those with IT and digital strategy experience to support our infrastructure plans. The Nominations & Elections Committee manages Trustee appointments, selects the Outstanding Contribution to Fundraising Award, and will oversee our new Young Fundraiser Trustee Apprentice Programme. Applications close at 17:00 on Monday 18 November. Find out more: https://bit.ly/3NBmR30

Wow! A huge congratulations to two inspiring fundraisers; Manny Singh Kang and Jacob Newson, for winning at the 2024 Pride of Britain Awards! Manny Kang was awarded the 2024 Fundraiser of the Year for his work fundraising for Dementia UK, and Jacob Newson was awarded the 2024 Young Fundraiser of the Year for his work fundraising for St. Gemma's Hospice and the RAF Benevolent Fund in memory of his Mum. These are fantastic achievements, a huge well done to all involved, and to the charities for their support.
