About us
We at Cirencester Friendly are income protection (IP) professionals, providing our Members with a regular income should they become unable to work and earn a living due to illness or injury. We are proud of our Member-owned ‘mutual’ status, which aligns the interests of the business and those who own it; our Members. Our philosophy is simple – we exist for the benefit of our Members. Cirencester Friendly was established in 1890. Primarily formed for the benefit of the agricultural workers based in Gloucestershire, today we cater for the income protection needs for all walks of life across the UK. With over 130 years of experience we are committed to providing the highest quality income protection but don’t just take our word for it... We have been recognised by a number of independent industry bodies including Moneyfacts, WhatMortgage, COVER and FT Adviser.

Calling all Advisers! It’s time to listen up and “Take Note”! 📝 Our support goes beyond our income protection products. The 125 Foundation is our in-house charity, established to provide exclusive financial support for your clients, their communities and causes close to their hearts. ✏ Last year, there was a total of 83 applications. ✏ In 2023, we donated over £51,000 to our Members, charities, and local causes. ✏ The majority of awards paid were to Members, helping support them through life-altering events. All Members have access to a variety of Added-value Benefits, whether they are making a claim or not. To learn more about how we can support your clients through the 125 Foundation, contact our Adviser Services Team on 0800 587 5098 or email adviserservices@cirencester-friendly.co.uk

We're absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for the following in the Protection Review Awards: 🏆 Best Protection Marketing 🏆 Doing it Better Award 🏆 Beverley Lambert - Unsung Hero Congratulations and good luck all! #Awards #TheIPProfessionals #ProtectionReview2024
Judging for the Protection Review Awards is done. In a heated seven and a half hour session, judging day was lively and full of debate. As usual, due to the sheer number of entries and to keep things simple, we limit each shortlist to a maximum of 6. Please contact us for feedback if you didn’t make the shortlist. But we have our winners and can't wait to present the awards on 27th November at The Landmark London Hotel. Did your company make the shortlist? Are you one of the individuals shortlisted?
