Hey all! 🇺🇲 COGS is a platinum sponsor of RECON 24 which is taking place on the 18-19th August in Los Angeles, California at the Universal Studios Hilton Hotel. It's created by the wonderful David Spira & Lisa Spira and hosted by the incredible peih-gee law 🔺 RECON is an experience for owners, creators, players, and supporters of escape rooms and immersive games. It’s an event for those who believe in the future of this industry and want to shape where it goes. 💫 We’ll have a booth with our COGS demo gear if you want to stop by and play with the system or just want to have a catchup with us. The directing team of Alex Hylands-White, Tom Dixon & Eyal Danon will be there. 🗣 There’s some great talks and events at RECON this year, including the talk we’re sponsoring from Francine Boon & Victor van Doorn from Sherlocked, Amsterdam called: Building Impossible Machines: Practical lessons for managing contractors through the creation of impractical things. 💰 If you attend RECON, you’ll be eligible to take advantage of some exclusive offers on COGS hardware, which are only valid for the days of the event. 🛍 Oh and look out for the goodie bags - they’ll be COGS purple and be sporting our logo. We hope to see some of you there! https://lnkd.in/e3xzzEza

What a brilliant way to spend a Thursday: a session with illusionist John Bulleid and Clockwork Dog, who very kindly showed us some of their amazing toys. They are a small but mighty company providing tech solutions for all things interactive and immersive, opening up a world of possibility for live storytelling. We can't wait to R&D some new ideas with them. #Immersive #Interactive #Storytelling #Live #Original #New #Illusion #Magicandmisdirection #design #cogs

Thank you to everyone who visited us at TransWorld 2024 this year! It was our first year that we exhibited and we loved every minute of it. We stood, we chatted, we demoed, we sold out of Starter Sets, we did a talk, we were on a puzzle hunt created by Buzzshot, we went to escape rooms, a scare maze, the City Museum, a few bars and overall met some fantastic people. This industry really has some of the most interesting folk you can find. Shout out to Meow Wolf for mentioning us in their talk - we were pretty slammed after that. Plus Dan Arnett for bringing us food and treats. We wish all your escape room and haunt projects the greatest success and see you all next year in St Louis! Alex, Eyal & Tom
