This webinar will focus on the new regulations around less healthy food and drink products in the UK and the upcoming new laws that are set to be introduced in 2025, following several consultations over the last few years. The regulations aim to restrict the promotion of foods that are high in fat, salt and sugar (HFSS) by placing restrictions around the advertising and pricing of them. We will also consider the lack of law governing ultra-processed foods and the impact that is having on the industry. Support for disabled employees should be an integral part of the equity, diversity, and inclusion agenda of any organisation. The new government plan to introduce disability pay gap reporting for employers with more than 250 employees. This is likely to prompt a review of how employers capture disability data and an analysis of the representation of disabled staff within an organisation.
