Last week, our Managing Director, Madina Barker was able to participate in a roundtable discussion with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon Rachel Reeves, and fellow leaders from the manufacturing sector. As we approach the new budget, it's clear that collaboration between the government and businesses like ours is more crucial than ever. Workshop Insights🔎 - Güdel Group Track to Increase the Robots Working Envelope These 2x 6m Gudel TM4b tracks will be bolted together to form an extended 12m track. Integrating a KUKA robot onto a linear track opens up a whole word of cost-effective large format manufacturing. Attaching a 3D printing head (such as CEAD Group's thermoplastic pellet extruder) allows large parts to be printed in one piece, reducing the labour and time spent on gluing up smaller, individual parts. Attaching a milling head gives manufacturers an alternative to CNC machines with a similar working envelope - advantageous to those working with composites, plastics, wood and foams.
