Aide 1.0 is now available, and live on Product Hunt ✨ Aide is an AI-native IDE with privacy at its core — and is the world's first editor with built-in support for Anthropic's Claude Opus, Sonnet and Haiku! 🎇 These models can be used for Inline code completion, chat and inline chat, all of which are built-in to the editor. Opus performs better than GPT-4 in coding tasks, and Sonnet offers the perfect mix of speed and reliability required for AI-assisted coding. You can either use the models with our paid plans, or bring your API key 😌 Upvote us on PH, and try the editor today! We're also hand onboarding 100 developers to the IDE, and taking AI-native feature requests that you're looking for in your IDE. If you're interested, just sign up from the pricing page. We've never relished more in the joy of programming. producthunt.com/posts/aide

We are excited about a new suite of feature requests that our users and we ourselves, as developers, are excited to build this week! 🌟 As developers, we typically have an intuition for where to start for our next task but don't yet have clear answers on the exact implementation details. We do this by exploring from our initial intuition & understanding of the codebase and find the right places to make changes to complete our tasks. We want our AI agent to be able to do this for you 🤖 Context is the most important aspect of interacting with AI coding agents. Apart from the context we pick up automatically, we want to ensure you can provide context using @ symbol dropdowns in the inline widget as well as the chat panel 📜 The editor currently allows us to navigate the codebase using references, but this experience simply remains broken within the chat window. We want to ensure every snippet of code while speaking with the agent can be referenced accurately ❇ When AI is at work, its quite helpful to be able to see its thought process even before it reaches the final answer. In every part of our agent interaction, you should be able to see this 👀 Regardless of whether you use our editor, let us know what you'd like to see in an AI-first IDE! 🙌
