  • We partnered with Ideal Building Systems Ltd to transform Pilsley Primary School in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, by creating a new modular building. The project's latest phase includes the introduction of a new spacious classroom with a kitchenette, accessible WC, and a dedicated library area. This new building replaced a dilapidated structure on the same footprint and features a textured external cladding finish. This is the second phase we have delivered in collaboration with Ideal Building Systems at this school. Previously, we worked on a sensory pod unit constructed off-site to enhance the school's facilities for all students. We are pleased to continue our partnership with Derbyshire County Council to contribute to a brighter learning environment for local children. Here are some great photos of the finished project.

  • We recently captured some great photos of the new infill extension at Swanwick Primary School. Working in collaboration with Stepnell for Derbyshire County Council, we introduced two versatile group rooms by creating an innovative infill extension to its existing building. The new rooms can be separated by a sliding wall that can be adjusted to create a larger, adaptable space. In addition to the infill extension, internal alterations to the school layout took place, including installing new fire doors and a comprehensive range of M&E and external works, such as new steps, balustrades, ramps, landscaping, and external lighting, enhancing accessibility and safety. This project reflects a shared commitment to create inspiring, inclusive, and functional educational spaces that cater to the diverse needs of students and staff.

  • We are thrilled to announce the official opening of a new teaching block at Tipshelf Community School. Delivered in partnership with Stepnell for Derbyshire County Council, the new building provides four additional classrooms and is a significant step in accommodating the growing demand and ensuring an inclusive educational environment for all students, especially for students with Specialist Educational Needs. We were pleased to have Natalie Fleet, MP for Bolsover, join this special occasion. During the ceremony, Head Prefects led a tour, showcasing the hard work and achievements of the dedicated students. Headteacher Lucie Wainwright expressed pride in the school community’s commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students. The new facilities will enhance the educational experience and help foster personal growth. It was great to be part of this fantastic celebration.

  • Last week we celebrated the official opening of the new teaching block at Martlesham Primary Academy. We were pleased to see the students enjoying their new classrooms. The new classroom block, which was created in collaboration with Suffolk County Council, REAch2 Academy Trust, and the local contractor Seamans Building, features a Year 6 classroom, cloakroom, toilet facilities, and a plant room. Part of the £750,000 project was dedicated to creating a Specialist Educational Needs (SEN) classroom. Additionally, internal refurbishments are underway in the existing school. Despite the challenges of working on an active school site, the team completed the redevelopment with minimal disruption to the children’s learning experience.

  • #ThrowbackThursday takes us back to Stowmarket Fire and Police Station. We're proud to have partnered with Morgan Sindall Construction to create a new, modern, and functional station for the Police and on-call Fire services within Stowmarket. From the very beginning, our focus was on sustainability, aligning with Suffolk County Council's Net Zero commitment. This state-of-the-art station features: ✅ 14 electric vehicle charging points (including a public visitor area)   ✅ Fully electric infrastructure with LED lighting, PV solar panels, and air source heat pumps   ✅ Underfloor heating for maximum comfort and efficiency  By prioritising energy efficiency, we have reduced future costs for our clients and set a standard for sustainable emergency services. Since 2010, we've been dedicated to enhancing collaboration between the Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service and Suffolk Constabulary. Read our case study here - https://lnkd.in/enRgr9YR
