This year marks the start of the World Cancer Day 2025-27 campaign #UnitedByUnique. Today, we’re reminded that every person’s experience with cancer is different, but together, we can make a lasting impact on those affected by the disease. 🌍🎗️ At Vertas Group, we are proud to support Cancer Research UK (CRUK), our chosen charity, and we endeavour to assist by raising much-needed funds. Last year, our collective efforts raised an incredible £28,000, bringing the total to a staggering £77,279. This included funds from our Exec Experiences initiative, which we're pleased to relaunch in 2025 with five brand new activities for colleagues to take part in. We’re proud to support Derbyshire County Council's Million Tree project by providing free apple trees to schools across the region. On Monday, the 27th, our colleagues joined the staff and students at Lea Primary School to plant their tree and celebrate this fantastic initiative.🌱 At Vertas Group, sustainability is one of our core values, and we’re thrilled to be working in partnership to plant over one million trees by 2030 to build a greener future. 🔗 Read more about the initiative below. It’s been a great start to the year for Vertas’ catering teams, as they have set the bar high with impeccable hygiene standards. 💫 At a number of different sites across the country, our colleagues have been sharing their outstanding 5-star EHO (Environmental Health Officer) ratings, demonstrating our commitment to excellence in food safety.
