Identify a primary keyword – Research the most effective keywords within your subject using resources such as Ahrefs and Semrush. 2. Determine the keyword’s search intent – Ensure you understand what the searcher is looking for when they search your keywords and make your copy fit that intent. 3. Decide how many times you’re going to use your primary keyword – Check the top 10 results for your keyword and see how many times they use it. If they use it 5 times, use it 6 for example. I help law firms to become more successful online. I manage the Law Firm Marketing Club and offer interim marketing management, advanced training, and expert community management to UK-based professional services firms.
Today, I have been working hard on something seriously interesting and exciting for this year's Law Firm Marketing Club 'What Clients Want' report. We've added a whole new second section of the usual report which will be shared EXCLUSIVELY with members or available for purchase. I'm not giving much away before December, but for example, check out the graph below. While it's logical to derive that the youngest age bracket surveyed will have had either one or limited interaction with legal services, none of the 18-29-year-olds surveyed used the same firm twice for different matters, pointing to a possible potential gap in client education OR that their first experience was poor and they've jumped ship. Engaging younger or possible 'first-time clients' by asking, “Is this your first time using a lawyer?” could be a friendly way to open conversations about legal services, build trust, enhance customer service, and improve cross-selling opportunities. It’s worth considering, as we shouldn’t assume everyone understands what goes on in a law firm. Food for thought! I'm telling you. This report is going to be one helluva beast.
