People often ask how we chose what migratory species to champion next and the truth is, it is often from people who have seen the threats and want us to bring it to everyone's attention. Our Flight of the Vultures event brought together a real mix of individuals and organisations and we will be continuing to build on this in the days, weeks, and months to come.

We were warned that it would be difficult to convince businesses and industries to conserve vultures. But, last night at the Flight of the Vulture event Hogan Lovells , we did exactly that. Hosted by Joanna Lumley, with an audience made up of businesses and finance clientele, we revealed how repairing the fragile relationship between business and nature is vital for both to succeed. Vultures are often misunderstood and their lack of "cute" appeal makes their conservation all the more difficult. Yet, last night showed that people and businesses are willing to provide their support. Thank you to our speakers and to all who attended.
