Biohacking & Longevity – Is the Solution to a Longer, Healthier Life a Lot More Simple? 🤔 In recent years, the world has become obsessed with biohacking. This fascination with optimizing our bodies and minds through advanced technology, supplements, and lifestyle changes has captured the imagination of many. But where did this craze begin, and what's driving it? 🌱💉 The Rise of Biohacking 📈 Biohacking, which started gaining traction in the early 2000s, is driven by a desire to enhance physical and mental performance. With figures like Dave Asprey and companies like 23andMe popularizing the movement, it has evolved into a multi-billion dollar industry. The promise of extended lifespan, enhanced cognitive function, and peak physical health are compelling motivators. However, amidst the quest for the next breakthrough, we might be overlooking something much more straightforward and equally powerful. The Simple Truth: Relationships Matter ❤️ According to Harvard research, the key to a longer and happier life isn't found in a pill or a technological gadget. It’s rooted in strong, meaningful relationships, both platonic and non-platonic. These connections provide emotional support, reduce stress, and give us a sense of belonging and purpose. This isn't just anecdotal. The Harvard Study of Adult Development, one of the longest studies of adult life ever conducted, reveals that the quality of our relationships is a better predictor of long and happy lives than social class, IQ, or even genes. 🧬👫 A Powerful Realization 💡 “Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Period.” This finding underscores a truth that many of us might overlook in our quest for the latest biohacking trend. Human connections, the support of family and friends, and the sense of belonging and purpose that come from these relationships are what truly sustain us. As humans, we often ignore the most obvious solution in the quest for the easiest one. Building healthy, supportive, and nurturing relationships takes time and effort, but it has been proven to be the most effective and powerful tool we have. Yet, we continue to search for a wonder drug or a magic bullet to solve our problems. The Challenge 💪 Let’s not overlook the power of genuine human connection in our pursuit of a longer, healthier life. After all, it might just be the simplest and most effective biohack there is. So, what steps are you taking today to foster deeper, more meaningful relationships in your life? 🌟 #Biohacking #Longevity #Relationships #MentalHealth #Purpose #Connection #Wellbeing #HarvardStudy #LifeHacks #Healthyliving https://lnkd.in/gHxqsxiQ

Navigating Love in Our Complicated Modern World 🌍💔 How do we find love in an era defined by flux and constant change? Reflecting on my own experiences and the world around us, I've noticed some key reasons why finding genuine love has become so challenging today. 🔄 A Different Era: Our parents had a straightforward path: school, university, work, marriage, kids. Today, we’re faced with unlimited choices. The internet, travel, and instant gratification have transformed our world, but not always for the better. 💔 Divorced Parents and Relationship Baggage: Many of us grew up with divorced parents, adding layers of complexity to our views on love. We've had more relationships than previous generations, often carrying baggage and trauma from one relationship to the next. 📱 Digital Disconnection: Before the internet, meeting someone took real effort. Now, dating apps and constant connectivity have made genuine connections more elusive. We're often more comfortable with screens than face-to-face interactions. 🔥 Quick Escapes: Dating apps offer an easy out when things get tough. Instead of working through issues, many choose to swipe left and move on. This quick escape is tempting, even for those in relationships. 📸 Social Media Distortion: Platforms like Instagram and TikTok give us a distorted view of love. They make us believe that relationships should be effortless and perfect, feeding unrealistic expectations. 💡 Grass is Always Greener: The allure of potentially better options makes it easy to give up on current relationships at the first sign of trouble. The temptation to always look for something better prevents us from truly investing in and nurturing our current relationships. 🚀 A Path Forward Navigating love today isn't easy. We're bombarded with choices, unrealistic standards, and the temptation of something better. But by acknowledging these challenges and prioritizing authenticity and resilience, we can find the genuine connections we crave. Healthy relationships take work, patience, and a willingness to navigate modern love's complexities with grace and understanding. Let's build real connections, acknowledge the challenges, and work towards genuine love. 💕 If you're tired of the current dating scene and want to contribute to something better, share your thoughts and suggestions on how we can make dating apps work for us. Join the conversation and help shape the future of dating! #Dating #Relationships #Love #ModernLove #Authenticity #Resilience #MentalHealth #RealConnections #DatingApps

📞🔊 "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford I came across an article by Sathnam Sanghera in The Times questioning the logic behind my dating app, hati, which bans messaging and turns every connection into a 5 minute phone call. He pointed out that young people despise phone calls, and I get it. Phone calls can feel daunting. But isn’t that precisely the point? Category-defining products often challenge the status quo and push us out of our comfort zones. They don’t just give people what they think they want—they deliver what they truly need. hati is designed to foster genuine connections, and voice is one of the most powerful tools for doing so. Studies have shown that voice communication conveys emotion five times more effectively than text. It allows for nuance, tone, and instant feedback, which are crucial for building trust and intimacy. We’ve seen other revolutionary products redefine behaviors too: ✨ Airbnb changed how we think about travel accommodation, encouraging people to stay in strangers’ homes. ✨Uber redefined urban transportation, making ride-hailing a norm over traditional taxis. ✨WhatsApp voice notes became a favorite communication tool for many, blending the ease of texting with the personal touch of voice. For those serious about finding their life partner, stepping outside the comfort zone is a small price to pay for authentic connection. hati aims to bring back the lost art of conversation, fostering deeper and more meaningful interactions. And after all it's only 5 minutes! Sathnam, I’d love to continue this discussion and delve deeper into the topic. Consider this an open invitation to join me on our podcast, "She Starts Here: From Scratch to Success (Hopefully)," to debate the future of dating apps and the power of voice in building real connections or you can stay a keyboard warrior. Let’s redefine how we connect in this digital age and bring back real human connections, because maybe the key to finding love is a 5 minute call. #DatingRevolution #Innovation #VoiceConnections #HatiDating #PodcastInvite https://lnkd.in/gh5KntTE

🎙️She starts here: From scratch to success (hopefully). 🎙️ One of the hardest parts of starting a business? All of the unknown unknowns. Everyday is a school day but worst because there is no guide and sometimes those unknown unknowns really come and bit you in the ass! As an audio aficionado, I've developed a dating app centered around meaningful connections because let's face it, the heart wants what it wants, and sometimes, it wants to chat! 🎶 It is also why I love learning through podcasts. While there are a million podcasts out there they're often filled with inspiring success stories of successful founders but they rarely delve into the gritty realities of entrepreneurship and help with a dummies guide to starting your business. That's why I'm launching my own podcast, where I'll lay bare the highs, lows, and everything in between of building hati. From the thrill of innovation to the daunting possibility of failure, I'll share it all – unfiltered and unapologetic. I can’t promise that hati will be a success but I can promise to share everything I learn along the way in hopes it helps someone else shortcut the mistakes and make a success of their business. Join me on this wild ride as I explore topics like: ✨I have an idea now what? 🤣 ✨What the hell is SEIS and EIS? ✨What is in a name? If there's a burning question you've been dying to ask, drop it in the comments below, and we'll tackle it in an upcoming episode! Our debut episode? It's a deep dive into the two-year journey from idea to action – why it took us two years to have the guys and audacity to even start. So whether you're a budding entrepreneur or simply curious about the process, tune in to 🎙️She starts here: From scratch to success (hopefully). 🎙️ Launching tomorrow, hopefully See you there! ❤️

Excited to share a sneak preview of hati where every connection turns into a 5-minute call! 😊 As we're just days away from launch, I'll admit—I'm utterly petrified. I’ve had the app on my phone for weeks now but I’ve been too scared to push the giant green button. Why? Because I keep running through all of the things that could go wrong. Because like two years ago when I came up with the idea, it feels safer to keep the app as an idea rather than a reality because as a dream I can imagine it as a huge success had I only tried. But as they say, 'fortune favors the bold,' so it will go live on Sunday because I want to be someone who does things, takes chances and actually lives rather than someone who just dreams of doing and living (and because my friends might disown me if I don’t 🤣) I believe that dating apps should be measured based on genuine connections created not meaningless matches and I'm committed to ensuring hati does just that. It’s a bold move having no messaging and just scheduled calls but maybe just maybe it’s just the change we all need! So, mark your calendars for this Sunday's launch— and let’s start dating a more human way! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the sneak preview and what you're currently fearful of starting! 💪 #ConnectionOverMatches #DatingAppLaunch #firsttimefounder #solopreneur

LinkedIn I really really need your help! Yesterday, Tim Ferriss begged for someone to build a dating app whose sole purpose is 10 minute calls, on the Modern Wisdom with Chris Williamson. This is exactly what I’ve built with hati, although we’ve gone for 5 minutes (Tim happy to change this for you though!) Tim Ferriss when you read this please have a ten minute video call with me to see if your spidey senses think hati is a go or no go! LinkedIn let’s use our collective power to get Tim Ferriss what he wants, please like, share, comment on this until he sees it and replies. If anyone knows him personally equity is on offer if you can get me a ten minute video call with Tim Ferriss. Thank you ❤️ #timferriss #modernwisdom #chriswilliamson #datingapps #linkedinviral #powerofnetwork

One of the fundamental design flaws of dating apps is they have dehumanised what is fundamentally a very human process of discovering someone or getting to know someone. What has been created through all of these dating apps is a culture of ghosting. A culture of generally behaving quite poorly towards one another. As one of the 70+% of people experiencing dating app burnout I have decided to do something about it by building hati - the dating app that focuses on connections over matches, where every match turns into a date. Massive thank you to the The Times for featuring us on Page 3 on Saturday! Read the full article below. https://lnkd.in/gSd9dDrB #datingapps #firsttimefounder #thetimes
