This project marks a significant step forward in their UK portfolio. 🔹 Excellence in Construction Standards: Our commitment to sustainability and best practices was reinforced through the implementation of the latest CCS Considerate Constructors Scheme guidance and standards. 🔹 Recognising Talent: A proud moment for Ant Yapi UK was Mehmet Can Aytek’s recognition in the prestigious Considerate Constructors Scheme 30 Under 30 Awards, a testament to the remarkable talent and leadership within our team. 🔹 Remarkable Growth: 2024 saw a significant revenue increase compared to 2023, reflecting the strength of our projects and our team’s relentless dedication. 🔹 Global Recognition: We’re honoured to have climbed the Engineering News-Record rankings to 84th in the world for the Top 250 Contractors and maintained our position as 5th in Turkey. Get ready for the incredible transformation of these THREE iconic London buildings. 👀 Three famous London buildings are set to be repurposed. LEFT: The world’s largest ever conversion of an office skyscraper in London. Plans have been unveiled to transform 8 Canada Square. When HSBC bank vacates the tower in 2027, it is set to be redeveloped, including the removal of large chunks from its facade. Cuts to the tower will carve out new terraces and divide the building into 8 sections. The higher floors would become an entertainment complex with museum, restaurant and garden. The lower floors would be new frontage for shops and restaurants. TOP RIGHT: Plans to transform and re-purpose London’s former City Hall (the former HQ of the Mayor of London) into shops, restaurants and offices have been approved. Its new face-lift will involve its exterior glass shell removed and new balconies fitted. BOTTOM RIGHT: The BT Tower is to be turned into a luxury hotel after its £275m sale to MCR Hotels. The 177 metre tower which opened in 1965 was originally called The Post Office Tower and was London's tallest building for 16 years.

The City of London has given permission for tallest skyscrapper, a 74-storey office tower that will be tied with the Shard as western Europe’s highest building. The approval speaks to a renewed confidence in demand for office demand after hybrid working pushed down vacancies. Many now believe that the lack of new projects will mean a crunch in supply for top-quality, new-build workspace in the coming years.  1 Undershaft, which is expected to be built by about 2030, will be 309.6 metres high. Yet another WOW for #urbansustainability 🌟🌱! Bioreceptive concrete developed by Dutch startup Respyre looks like a revolutionary solution for integrating green spaces into urban environments. This innovative material is described to allow moss to grow on its surface without damaging the underlying structures, thanks to the use of rizoids (instead of roots), which prevents it from being invasive. It offers multiple environmental benefits: #carbondioxidecapture, filters #air and #waterpollutants, improves #biodiversity and regulates temperature through #evapotranspiration. A highlight of this technology certainly is its #sustainability. Respyre uses recycled concrete in its manufacturing, reducing its #environmentalfootprint and promoting the #circulareconomy. The company also collaborates with universities and companies like Eneco to expand its applications, including #windturbine bases and balconies in social housing in Amsterdam. Further pilot projects are underway in the Netherlands, including green walls at the Marineterrein Amsterdam, where currently, about fifty handpicked organisations and knowledge institutes together with around six hundred students are learning how to keep the #cityofthefuture liveable for everyone.
