DJS Research Ltd is an UK based full service market research agency specialising in both consumer and business to business research surveying. We have extensive experience of implementing and managing quantitative research and qualitative market research projects within various industry sectors (both UK based and international). We are employee-owned. After 12 months employees become partners and owners. The company has to be run in the best interests of partners and everyone has a true voice. DJS Research has offices in Stockport, Leeds and remote workers throughout the UK. The Market Research Society recently identified us as the "One to Watch Agency" in their annual report because of our impressive on-going organic growth performance.     It’s Biscuit Week on the GBBO - what better day to launch the (much awaited!) results of our Great DJS Biscuit Survey 2024!🍪 There's often high levels of biscuit-banter in our head office, but do all our partners - across the UK and beyond - have the same strength of feeling about these teatime treats? 🤔 Clever cookie and Senior Research Exec Michael Astakhov decided to run an inhouse survey to find out! 😄 Jokes aside, this survey was designed to provide a training opportunity to give some of our junior team members hands on experience of the magic of TURF analysis. We’ve worked on many varied and interesting turf bundles – from the desirability of different visitor attractions by tourist ‘type’, to use of patient resources across a wide range of diseases, to ticket booking preferences across multiple markets – but never biscuits by colleague…until now! 👍 Now the data’s been fully digest-ived (sorry), the results make for a delicious read and reveal none other than the Ultimate DJS Biscuit Tin😋.     Read Ali Sims' takeaways from the Vulnerability & Debt Conference and relevant insights from a recent survey with our Different Perspectives panel on themes raised. https://ow.ly/qeLL50TJ17J. Trust as a barrier to uptake of support services designed for people in vulnerable circumstances, including the priority services register, was one of many interesting themes explore at last month’s Utility Week Vulnerability & Debt Conference💷. We have seen the impact of trust first hand in our own research, specifically amongst customers in economic hardship within our Different Perspectives panel; the results of our recent survey for the utilities sector, in which we asked consumers about their relationship with their water company, showed dramatic differences in consumer trust levels between those who had accessed support services and those said they would ‘never’ use them. This is just one of the interesting points raised at the conference that were also evidenced in our recent research.     💡 New in our Knowledge zone: Research Exec Jasmine Palin's reflections on the recent Best of MRS Events & Awards in Manchester https://ow.ly/q9yq50TvjlQ. Back in the heady days of Summer the Market Research Society (MRS) came to town (the sun even had his hat on to celebrate if we remember rightly!😎) and agencies from across the North-West made the most of it with a brilliant turn out by all👍.     Three more milestones to celebrate this week as Rahat Imran, Lucy Pawson and Kathryn Hadfield hit 3, 5 & 15 years with DJS Research! 🥳 ⭐Rahat joined our HR team back in 2021 and her passion for people and wellbeing is equalled by her fantastic baking skills – she’s always ones to watch in our office Bake-Offs! 🍰🧁 ⭐Our HR Manager Lucy, joined us in 2019 and has played an important part in our successful employee ownership journey so far. As well as leading our EO Voice group and being an Employee Trustee on our Trust Board, Lucy leads our Wellbeing group and says she just loves making ideas reality. She has a passion for the outdoors and has recently discovered the joy of family festivals too – watch out Glasto, the Pawsons might well be heading your way next year!🏕️🎶 ⭐And last but by no means least, our Data Services Exec Kathryn takes the top slot with a whopping 15 years here at DJS! Her previous roles have included CATI Interviewer as well being part of both the Data Entry and Data Support teams, giving her huge a depth of operational experience.     Ali Sims is attending the Utility Week Vulnerability & Debt Conference tomorrow where she is excited to share news of Different Perspectives, our latest in-house panel. Through our new Different Perspectives panel, we have access to over 6,000 individuals who we know are facing, and experiencing, vulnerable circumstances today. This means we can provide our clients with vital, high-quality insights at scale from groups which are otherwise hard-to-reach.    Vulnerabilities come in many forms, from economic hardships to health issues, social factors and more, and could affect any one of us in very different ways. However, rarely would an individual use the word ‘vulnerable’ to describe themselves or their own situation. Using Different Perspectives we can help our clients to navigate the these complexities to engage the right people, in the right way, and deliver meaningful research outputs.     Our researchers are HUGELY passionate about their sectors and specialist areas and they love nothing more than sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm. That’s why our Research Director Alex McCluckie was both flattered and delighted when he was approached by conference organisers, asking him to run an interactive session on one of his core specialisms – behavioural science🧠.     Summing up that bank holiday weekend feeling 🥳 with some snaps of our Partners out and about enjoying a cuppa and a piece of cake in the weeks after our Month of Us campaign🍰☕. Some of us had cake together in-real-life on the last day of our 3rd EO anniversary month, but with our hybrid workforce spread across the UK and beyond it was only a fraction of our Partners. To ensure everyone felt part of our mini celebration, we sent every single Partner a Costa Coffee voucher so they could enjoy a sweet treat (or whatever else took their fancy) at their leisure😋 (our overseas Partners got an equivalent for their country - no man was left behind!😆).     Rounding off another great week with a snap of some of our researchers in team Cloud wandering o'er hill and dale on a recent get together🌄. Spread out across the UK and beyond, it's not often they're together in real life but when they are they make the most of it💗.
