Empowering Clinicians and NHS Staff to Lead Innovation in Health and Care For a long time now I have believed that clinicians and NHS staff should be empowered and supported to lead as innovators, entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs across health and care. The NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme provides a fantastic opportunity for clinicians and NHS staff to harness their entrepreneurial and innovative abilities to design, develop, test and scale innovative solutions to improve patient care. Over a one-year period the Programme provides mentoring, events, networking, workshops and professional development opportunities to support NHS staff on their health innovation and entrepreneurship journey. Now in its 9th year it has been great to see this initiative go from strength to strength over the years and also inspire the creation of similar programmes in other countries. It has a been a privilege to support the programme through both Doctorpreneurs and IBM. Applications for the next cohort of the NHS CEP are now OPEN! My Top HealthTech Books 📚 Over the past few years, life (and kids!) have kept me from finishing as many books as I'd like.
