We aren’t just building campfires, we’re building a movement! That’s right, our ‘Girls Break the Bias’ campaign with Girlguiding is in its OOH era, with billboards popping up across the UK. We’re countering the negative gender stereotypes that AI is spreading by empowering young girls to dream, while showing that Girlguiding provides safe spaces for them to learn, grow and become themselves. Made by an all-woman production team who are themselves Girlguiding alumni, the message behind our billboards certainly leaves a mark. In fact, so much so, that our media partners donated the OOH space off the strength of our creative, leading to billboards popping up in Glasgow, Manchester, Norwich and London. Originally launching on International Day of the Girl, the campaign is also running across social channels. Visit girlguiding.org.uk to learn more and be a part of the change. #GirlsBreakTheBias #EmpowerChange #CharityMarketing

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of screening “The Substance”, Coralie Fargeat's latest film featuring Demi Moore. The film delves deep into themes of ageism and the pursuit of beauty in an unforgiving Hollywood 🧑🏻🦳 We were fortunate to have ANITA BHAGWANDAS, author of the thought-provoking book 'Ugly', join us for an insightful Q&A session with Georgia Stephenson afterwards. Her perspectives and discussions about societal standards of beauty and self-acceptance provided a valuable context to the film's narrative and themes. Stay tuned for updates as we celebrate more thought-provoking screenings in the future! 🎥✨ #DontPanicPresents #TheSubstance #SohoHouse

People still harbour outdated views of older people online, but they do more than post deranged one-star product reviews. According to a survey by strategy agency, Eden Stanley, there’s actually “huge potential” for charities to engage older supporters via social media. This is because, while vast numbers of them are online, only 14% of them are posting about causes, compared to 44% of Gen Z users. The research shows that not only are there vast networks of older people on social media forming untapped marketplaces for charities, but they’re also the most direct audience. While many Millennials share their views about good causes just to express their own values, older generations mainly do it to raise awareness of issues, so it’s far from just empty posturing. This all means that if these senior social media users can be successfully engaged and mobilised, then the cause marketing opportunities are boundless. Plus, it would mean fewer weird memes in your feed about how much better life was before health and safety, which would really be an added bonus. So, get in touch with us at Don't Panic London | Certified B Corp if you’d like to find out how we plan to get older people posting about your next campaign! #SocialMedia #CharityMarketing #GenX #Boomers

Last Friday was International Day of the Girl and to commemorate the day we worked with our amazing clients at, Girlguiding, to launch a brand new empowering campaign. Over half (51%) of girls and young women say they have been told they can’t do something because they’re a girl, highlighting how often girls can be held back from engaging in activities from a young age. This societal bias has now creeped into AI imagery. Type “someone building a fire” into an AI image generator and you’ll get a photograph of a rugged man making a fire. Type in “being a leader” and you’ll be in a boardroom with a man in a suit leading the room. For a young girl, it’s a visual barrier that can prohibit them from even starting to dream. But that’s not the reality at Girlguiding. So we recreated the AI images, working with a group of amazing Brownie and Guide members to show that gender stereotypes won’t stop them. AI doesn’t always show what girls are capable of in this world. But Girlguiding definitely does 💙💛 Can’t wait to see this campaign pop up across the country in OOH, social and digital – as an ex Brownie myself, I couldn’t be more proud. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest campaign 'Girls Break the Bias' in partnership with Girlguiding 💙 Gender stereotypes are being replicated and proliferated by AI. To counter this, we want to empower young girls to dream without limits while demonstrating that Girlguiding provides safe spaces where young girls can learn, grow and become themselves. We assembled an all-woman team to work on the campaign throughout its lifecycle, from conception to execution. Plus the production team, from the photographer to the Heads of Departments, were all former Girlguiding alumni, which was especially important when it came to working with actual Girlguiding members, so they could see the roles they could grow up to be 💭 The campaign launched on 'International Day of the Girl' and runs across OOH and social channels. We are excited to be screening Coralie Fargeat's Cannes sensation, “The Substance”, at White City House next week! 🍿 The Substance is a satirical body horror film in which a fading celebrity decides to use a black-market drug to temporarily create a younger, better version of herself. Starring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid, it’s the perfect film to get you in the Halloween spirit 👻 We will be joined by special guest ANITA BHAGWANDAS for the Q&A with Georgia Stephenson. You won’t want to miss it! Members can grab their tickets on the Soho House app now. #DontPanicPresents #TheSubstance #SohoHouse

Not one. But two films in this years APA 40. For the 2nd year running. There’s a lot of films made a year in this industry, and as a small agency we can only contribute a literal handful each year. So to get two of those into the top 40 is quite something. Our ratio of “films made” to “in the APA 40” must surely be one of the most prolific. Well done everyone at Don't Panic London | Certified B Corp, especially to our clients Shelter and Disasters Emergency Committee - without your trust none of this is possible.

In this life, we could all try to be more Gladys ✨ Our ‘Be More Gladys’ legacy campaign, made for Barnardo's, aimed to show that, though specific issues are constantly changing, appearing or even improving, whatever children are struggling with - Barnardo’s will be there. To achieve this, we needed to make the organisation feel personally relevant to our pledgers. So, we introduced Gladys, an inspirational older woman helping children everywhere, who encouraged our audience to follow in her footsteps by leaving money in their own will. If you’re interested in creating an impactful legacy campaign of your own, email us at newbusiness@dontpaniconline.com 📧 #BeMoreGladys #SupportingChildren #BarnardosLegacy #InternationalDayForOlderPersons
