Celebrating International Day of Charity! 🎉🌍 Charity and community spirit are at the heart of what we do, and we're proud to celebrate the incredible efforts of our staff, students, and supporters. Here's a round-up of our recent charity initiatives that have made a difference in our community ❤️ ️ 🚶26 staff members embarked on a challenging half marathon charity walk through the stunning Peak District, supporting Dudley Group NHS Charity, Black Country Foodbank, and Ravens Rescue. 🏢 We saw 36 brave staff, students, and Russells Hall Hospital staff abseil down our Evolve building in support of our college charities. 🫖 40 incredible volunteers and supporters of Ravens Rescue and Dudley Group NHS Trust, thanking them for their continued support. 🏆 Photography Lecturer Phil Brooks won the Frank Foley Award for Community Spirit, recognising his charity walks and the impactful Refugee Project showcased at Dudley Archives. And Hair & Beauty Lecturer Aimee Garratt was runner-up, acknowledged for her outstanding fundraising for local charity Ronnie & Friends. 🧺 We collected food and toiletries for Black Country Food Bank, pet supplies for Ravens Rescue, and toys for children at Russell’s Hall Hospital. 🎄 Our Christmas Fayre raised £349.82 for Ravens Rescue, and staff across Dudley College donned their festive best for Christmas Jumper Day to support the Dudley Group NHS Charity's ‘Supporting Children Appeal’. 🎁🎄 👨🦰 Dudley Sixth tutors Ben France, Chris Worley, and Simon Morris raised £150 for Movember, supporting men’s mental health and cancer research.

Excited to welcome our new apprentices to the Aspen Concepts family! Meet Lucas Stevenson, Louis Walters, and Cohen Arnold, who are embarking on a two-year joinery course, supported by WCG (Warwickshire College Group) and Dudley College Over the next two years, they'll be working closely with our experienced team, gaining invaluable skills and knowledge that will set the foundation for their future. Congratulations to William Parker on achieving a grade 5 in English Language! Reflecting on his time at Dudley College, William said: "I left school with a grade 3 in English Language and wanted to study Motor Vehicle, so I had to resit my English alongside my course. Now I’ve passed my English I can progress onto the level 2 Motor Vehicle course where I hope to eventually become a fully qualified mechanic. My advice to people wanting to study at Dudley College would be to never give up and to keep going! The teachers really help you with your work and I'm really looking forward to next year." Well done, William! ❤️
